The Stormwater Brick is an excellent way to control runoff water where there is insufficient space for detention ponds. As part of a storm water management plan it is often necessary to have a retention facility. A permeable pavement system can reduce and in some cases eliminate retention requirements. The aggregate base used in the system helps to filter and reduce pollutants. The ground water is recharged because the water is not running off the pavement. It is filtering through the systems aggregate base
